We supply and fit Lutron, Silent Gliss, Somfy and Q-Motion systems, matched to each window, roof lantern or awkward opening. Fabrics and finishes are chosen with your interior designer; the automation is engineered by us.
Blinds integrate with your lighting and control system, so "Goodnight" closes the house and "Movie" darkens the cinema without touching a switch.
We measure, supply, fit and program every blind ourselves rather than subcontracting, which is why we can guarantee the quiet, aligned, reliable result that makes automated shading feel like part of the building. Good questions
Asked before you had to.
Can you automate blinds in an existing home without rewiring?
Yes. Battery and rechargeable systems such as Q-Motion need no cabling at all, and radio-controlled motors retrofit into most existing headrails and recesses. Wired systems remain the gold standard for new builds and refurbishments.
Are automated blinds noisy?
Not the ones we fit. Premium Lutron and Silent Gliss motors are near silent, and correct installation matters as much as the motor: alignment, bracket choice and programming are why our blinds glide rather than grind.
Do automated blinds work with Control4 and Lutron lighting?
Seamlessly. Blinds join your lighting scenes, schedules and the "Goodnight" button, and can track the sun to manage heat and glare automatically. That integration is the difference between electric blinds and an automated home.
What about awkward shapes, roof lanterns and huge windows?
They are our favourite kind. Silent Gliss and Lutron cover roof lanterns, gable ends, bays and spans of several metres, with tensioned and tracked systems designed for each opening. If it has glass, it can almost certainly be dressed and automated.
